MOVIE ABOUT ARAVID KEJRIWAL

It seems Arvind Kejriwal, President of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has not just become an iconic figure in the political arena but is soon set to become the heartthrob of Bollywood. The entireBollywood flooded social media on his magnificent victory.

That’s not all after his party historic victory in Delhi assembly elections where it literally swept the election securing a whopping 66 of the 70 seats in Delhi the latest buzz is that a movie has been made decorating Arvind Kejriwal’s valiant raise narrating this party’s expedition from its formation in December 2012 to the Delhi state elections in December 2013. The only limitation of the film is that it won’t be displaying the landslide victory of 2015 as the movie was commissioned before the Delhi by election.

Produced by Anand Gandhi, who directed the National Award winning film SHIP OF THESEUS, the film is a documentary and is ready for theatrical release.

Titled PROPOSITION FOR A REVOLUTION the movie has always been applauded at theBusan International Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India. However despite accolades the movie could find a theatrical release because all the brouhaha generated when Arvind Kejriwal won the Delhi election in 2013 fizzled out no sooner Arvind Kejriwal resigned as Chief Minister of Delhi after 49 days in power due to backstabbing by Congress Party.

The film will also feature the AAP party members Yogendra Yadav, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Santosh Koli and l showcases the challenges, successes, failures, campaigns, criticisms, strategies and other ups and downs faced by the party since its inception.

Speaking about the movie Anand Gandhi, said, “We are in the final stages of editing and hope to release the film by June. It attempts to provide a fly-on-the-wall neutral perspective on the formation and evolution of the young political party, and in doing so, on Indian democracy itself.”
